I did once to get a cat help.Cost me $160 in medical care for myself...and loss of over 2 wks f work...and the owner....did nothing..even with the poloice involved....
They wanted me to get rabie shots....yikes..  I have a beautiful adopted cat from a neighbor to day..And he doesn't bite me....

Absolutely. Within reason, of course. AS long as we can afford the food for them, I have no problem with it. If it gets to the point that it's either groceries for us....or food for the animals....THEN there may be an issue. I could stand to miss a couple of meals but......    punny.. lol |

Humm well duhhhh yeah that is how I got my Cocker Spaniel Sassy a friend of mine stopped in the middle of a busy Hwy as others were coming to a stop he got out of his truck and she was rolling under a car. Picked her up and brought her to my house lol she now has the run of the house could not have asked for a better dog. After searching for her owners through papers ect and having her scanned for a chip and did not find anyone that claimed her nor a chip. She then became a permanent member of my household.
But now within reasoning is one thing to bring in strays to give them a home after a while some would have to be put out for adoption to other homes. You hear of those Horror stories where someone passes away and they find like a 100 animals living in filthy conditions ect.. Now that I would have to say no thank you too. lol Love animals of all sorts but when it comes to the point your doing them more harm then good you have went too far.

Thats how I found my dog "Shamrock". I found him in my front yard under a tree shivering from the rain. He was only about 3 months old I think. He stayed with us until he passed on. He was a great addition to the family. He also prefers veggies over anything so we saved money on dog food haha.

For future reference, folks, never give someone like this a trap, even if she insists on trying to catch that _one_ stray in the mall, keeping you up until 3AM until SHE gets tired, knowing you have to be at work by 9AM. Buy a trap, and start collecting pets. 5 pets is my limit and right now, I'm at 2.
