The Lizzie Borden axe murders of her Mother & Father.is what actually made my town Fall River,Mass famous on Aug.4,1892.The greatest minds 4 defense & prosecution handled this case but due to many factors, most importantly no forensic tech.@ the time the jury could not convict on circumstantial evidence. The interesting twist of the story & case would not be rvealed until decades later by a woman on her dead bed.She swears that Lizzie was having an affair with a young man named Andrew who reisded in N.B.Mass.He had motive, means, strength, etc.to carry out these brutal murders but of course was never convicted. This great murder mystery still stands until the present & will never be solved.devil

My stepson...went missing years ago while hitchhiking...after being picked up hitch hiking by a trucker...never seen from again. Odd thing , was this trucker waited several months...then mailed some small inexpensive belongings to our house...said, BUDDY was here a few months ago and left these (just a address book and a small notebook) He sent these without goig to post office...plastering way too many stamps on the front...to make sure there was enough postage. This trucker is the main suspect...but no body...my husband died 2 1/2 years ago never knowing what became of his son. We did memoralize him and he is officially deemed deceased...but , no body was ever found.

I am sorry that happened to you and yours. What you just expressed is almost assuredly a sign of a serial killer, especially that indication of the mailed note.

Again, so sorry.brokenheart

Do you have a favorite?

Right away I am calling that you can not say "the meaning of life" because, well, we all wonder that.

But your second choice would be?????

I start. I have always been intrigued by serial killers. The unsolved White Chapel murders in England by Jack the Ripper have continued to make me question.

(to this day I am blaming the artist Walter Sickert..but who knows???)

what unsolved mystery is your greatest wonder???
Hi Julie. I too am very interested in that particular crime study. I agree with a documentary that was recently on the "History" channel. The reason I liked the documentary was because it seems to be correct.
In regards to the royalty involved, I would say no!!
In regards to a surgeon involved, I would say no.
It seems like it was the work of a Polish Jew named Kominzki. A depraved lunatic!!
When the Queen ordered more man power on the case. Scotland yard did not do it for the reasons that at the time of the killings there was a brief period of non-murder and at this time Kominzki was serving time for petty theft. The police were watching him. The murders completely stopped as if over night. At this point Kominzki was instituted. It is a likelihood the police did no name him due to the fact of the amount of Jews in the area at that time. The public already hated jews due to the horrific crimes and had already blamed them. So this may of stopped the police naming him.

Keep your eye open for the documentary on the History channel, as it does bo on randomly. If you were really interested you could get in touch with the broadcasting agency itself. I apologise but I do not have that infomation presently. But I am sure the "God of Google" will help you out.

Maybe you've already seen the documentary and agree/disagree!!

Not necessarily a serial killer, maybe wrong place wrong time but what is strange is that he held on to the belongings for so long. If they actually did belong to the missing person in question then yes, he is the murderer!! Maybe not a serial killer but a random killer.

Sorry for your loss brokenheart

Awesome enthusiam! I have not seen the show you mentioned but I will try to catch it. I have based my opinion on Patricia Cornwells million dollar investigation. And ofcourse we all do not know for sure...:ohwell but his (Sickert's) paintings are interesting and so is her investigation. ohwell

He was picked up in Philadelphia on the Pennsylvania turnpike. My husband and an investergoator talked to this trucker...he kept getting confused about where he dropped Buddy off at...but he was clear about evcery piece of clothing he was wearing right down to his boots...remebered this 6 months later

They did belong to Buddy. We asked why his belongings were in his house (he claimed he found them while cleaning) He said, "it was raining and Buddy was wet, I let him shower and change into dry clothes". He siad Buddy must have dropped those item in his couch. When asked if Buddy used the phone while he was there, his answer was no, he offered to let him use it but Buddy declined. That was the biggest lie of all, because Buddy LOVED the phone and would not pass up the opportunity to use it to call us and his sister. Anyway, nothing was ever proved. No body found.
