I don't know if you guys have had this question asked of you yet,
but.....Do BBW's have a harder time finding someone to share communication with on these date sites? I'm just getting back into the dating arena after taking some time to "find" myself. I will say though, it was one heck of a ride:) any info would be appreciated. thx |

I am over weight and have not had any problems talking to people. It is
all about confidence. And by reading your profile it shows that you have. So just keep that confidence and you should do just fine. This is a great site so I can't see you having any problems. Welcome to just say hi. |

I am a BBW as well, And although I don't have time to stick around after
I write this I will check it when I get home Monday. I have always found things harder, life, dating, whether internet, or in person, and everything else in general. Simple things like buying clothes, shopping for shoes, knowing you have to have wider ones, to accomadate your sometimes swollen feet. Going to a restraunt without someone staring at you like you shouldn't be eating anything just because your larger. Being a BBW makes everything in life harder. I don't care what others say, it's true. Walk in my shoes and you will know. Whats bad about the whole weight issue is that more Americans are overweight today, as opposed to any other time in history. And we are still not accepted. Booths in restraunts are still too snug to be comfortable, people still teach their children to look down at and make fun of us because we are not normal. Tell me who is normal, and what is normal. Do you have to have anorexia to be normal, or at least look like you have it? And how is that fair, since everyone is always yelling about rights. What about the rights of a heavy person? Do we not deserve the same treatment as everyone else? And through it all I still have a love for my fellow man, just not the way some of them think. Its really sad. PMS |

Something I do not understand about The states. I mean the goverment or
whoever it is complains about the population being over weight but yet if I was to go to your Mc Donald's or whatever your oders are bigger then ours. Our large soft drinks are is the same size as your mediums. And your large is just a whole different size. If they are worried about the weight population then why make things like that bigger? Something I never understood. Sorry. |
