Sort through the advice people offer & use what you term proper. Many people will offer their OPINIONS, doubt they have a degree or the ability to offer REAL QUALITY advice.

Opinions & azzholes, everyone has them.
Some are just bigger & smellier than others.

My OPINION

WELL SAID laugh

I never degrade people, after all, WHO AM I??

People asking for help need a hand, not a clubing.

I would give you advice .. if I could understand what you were saying.

Maybe if you talk like this in person, the guy might have thought you were intelligent and wanted to be with someone who could at least speak proper grammar?

Or that he just didn't find you attractive after meeting face-to-face.

All of these other people are trying to be nice and spare your feelings -- but I'll tell you straight up how it is.

drinker drinker yesdrinker drinker

I second that motion................drinker drinker drinker drinker drinker and you shouldnt drink if you are going to the library.....................frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated

ABSOLUTELY INCORRECT! The library is the best place to drink, unless you have to drive there, or rather from there if you are actually only going to drink once there.

There is no other way to properly appreciate Plato, and Shakespear, and all those other stuffy boobs who filled pages with nonsense.

Libraries are not a bad dating pickup spot, but kind of a dull first date.

Seems like you were pretty much outgoing, so he is probably too blame. Perhaps he had a different perception of your or is very shy. Either way, the best thing to do is shout out the best four letter word in the dictionary:

NEXT!

its usualy a lot easier to talk to people on txt or the phone.. even on email...

when you are on the phone there is not body language.. you dont have to worry about what your expression on your face is.. or what your body language is saying... while txting.. if they say someting that is sad to you or that is odd.. but they like you and dontwant you to know that they felt that way.. its easy to hide..
first meetings after a time online or on phone are always hard...

couple things.. its only been 3 days... its not the end of the world if thinsg dont work out..
and txt him again. see how he felt about the meeting... see if it was just first meeting jitters or if he just didnt feel the conection...

go from there...

Hey dollface ~

I have messaged and IM'd dozens and dozens of guys, although I have met only a few of those that were close by. I think I can give a little insight into what is going on here....it's actually a two way street, but I think women are a little more realistic....

I believe what happens is that guys start to fantasize about the person they are IMing or messaging, and then when they meet in person, the mannerism's, etc., that they had imagined, that turned them on to begin with, aren't in sinc(sp?) with their fantasy. It is easy to be ever so clever and witty when you are IMing and messaging each other, but so easy to burst the bubble via the phone or in person.
