Hearing this when McConfused went overseas?

Rice told embassies to limit aid for Obama, McCain

On the eve of Democrat Barack Obama's overseas tour, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice told employees at U.S. embassies to provide only minimal help to visiting presidential candidates.

The orders went to all overseas posts and told government employees not to do anything that might show favoritism or amount to improper campaign activity. A spokesman said the State Department issued similar orders ahead of presumed Republican nominee John McCain's similar overseas tour four months ago, but limited the communication to embassies in countries the Republican planned to visit.

Obama traveled to Afghanistan and Iraq in his capacity as a member of Congress and was joined by Sens. Chuck Hagel, R-Neb., and Jack Reed, D-R.I. Like his Afghanistan stop, his visit to Iraq had heavy security and limited media access. Visiting U.S. officials and lawmakers often invite reporters to cover their visits and some hold news conferences with leaders in Baghdad, but Obama has been shielded from the media.

Hmmm!!!

I find it strange that someone can visit Iraq after saying the troop surge wouldn't work. He still hasn't admitted that it did work. I also find it strange that the liberal news media doesn't print McCain editorials after they printed Obama's a week earlier. I notice that Obama is trying to act like he has something to do with the troops that maybe withdrawn in the future. Bush said"We will withdraw troops when the Iraqi government asks us to and when we feel we need to." Tell both sides of the story Fanta.

In response to Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s clear statement in support of a 16-month redeployment from Iraq, a senior McCain official tells Marc Ambinder “[V]oters care about [the] military, not about Iraqi leaders.” A “prominent Republican strategist” who occasionally provides advice to the McCain campaign said more candidly, “We’re ****ed.” Recall, this is what McCain said in 2004:

QUESTION: Let me give you a hypothetical, senator. What would or should we do if, in the post-June 30th period, a so-called sovereign Iraqi government asks us to leave, even if we are unhappy about the security situation there? I understand it’s a hypothetical, but it’s at least possible.

McCAIN: Well, if that scenario evolves, then I think it’s obvious that we would have to leave because — if it was an elected government of Iraq — and we’ve been asked to leave other places in the world. If it were an extremist government, then I think we would have other challenges, but I don’t see how we could stay when our whole emphasis and policy has been based on turning the Iraqi government over to the Iraqi people.

The latest article I can find regarding Obama in Iraq is over 20 hrs old.

When McConfused was there the press followed him everywhere.
We saw him walking around the Greeb Zone giving speeches, left and right, and boasting the Administration policies at every turn.

Isnt it strange that for 20 hrs we havent seen an article about Obama's visit?

I think the Bush Administration is playing politics!!

Are you joking? The press followed him like he was a movie star. And why do you even think he is there to begin with? Just to make it look like he gives two sheets about whats going on there.

Besides the official reasons as a member of the foreign Relations committee?

He's letting all Bush's Puppets see who they will have to deal with beginning in 2009!

From what I see the troops are cheering him, and from what I hear the Iraqi's are all for his plan to withdraw from Iraq within 16 months of taking office, and the military leaders in Afghanistan are anxious for him to send them more resources.

From the McConfused campaign I see fear and when Maliki said exactly what he felt his republican advisers said, "we're f@cked."
From the Bush administration I hear,

Rice told embassies to limit aid for Obama, McCain

On the eve of Democrat Barack Obama's overseas tour, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice told employees at U.S. embassies to provide only minimal help to visiting presidential candidates.

What I wonder, since they never said that when McConfused went on his trip which is obvious to anyone who watched him on the Media, is an attempt to use their power in office to influence the elections in favor of their candidate.

Troops cheering? Its called staged. How soon you forget about dog and pony shows. Majority of military want to stay and finish the job. Believe the slanted news all you want. I know lots who are volunteering to go. I have been there and am going again. Unless Obama gets in office. Then I will go to the surrender ceremony handing the flag to the terrorist.

ll both sides of the story Fanta.

Do you realize at thanksgiving 2006 time Saudi Arabia summoned Cheney thier because they were upset thier cousins the sunni's were being slaughtered.

Saudi warned us if something was not done quickly that they would take over Iraq to protect the sunni's and send us home.

What happened? 2 weeks later Bush announced we needed 20 to 30 thousand more troops for this troop serge i would suppose you are talking about.

If we would of let saudi go in they were going to cut oil prices in 1/2 to cripple Iran. Later Iran wanted to have a peace conference with Saudi..I wonder why?

This was pulled from the media fairly shortly and declared a lie.

The ambassador to the US from Saudi stepped down due to personal reasons shortly after.

He had only been the head of intelligence for saudi for the past 25 years before being appointed ambassador then spent the shortest time in that office anyone from Saudi ever had.

This serge that we now claim is helping has cause gas to go sky high and we are still thier and McClain says he will stay 20 years if it takes it..

Sound like Germany? We never have left thier.

We have been lied to so much that you can almost believe the oppisite is true what the Bush admin says

Oil prices are mainly about supply and demand - with the surge in oil prices there has been a cut in consumption and that is the reason Oil is down some $20 a barrel and going lower.

McConfused gave the credit to Bush today and once again said it was all psychological,,,,

"The price of oil dropped $10 a barrel," said McCain, who argued that the psychology of lifting the ban has affected world markets."

More Republican BS!!!
Im glad to hear you agree with me!!
