Dia del Amigo (The Day of the Friend) has its origin in Argentina,thanks to Enrique Ernesto Febbraro,a professor of Psychology, Musician and Odontologist. On 20 of July,1969, in honor of the arrival of man to the moon, he sent 1000 letters to different countries. 700 people responded to him immediately and,the Day of the Friend was created in 100 different nations. Its celebrated in many countries (including my own), to this day. Enrique Ernesto Febbraro was twice nominated for the Nobel Peace prize.
