So I had this thought, been emailing this person back and forth for a few weeks now (only a friendship for now mind you), and we had exchanged numbers some time ago. I was considering trying to surprise her when she came online tomorrow night, and calling her out of the blue. But at the same time don't want to make her uncomfortable either. Might just ask her first to make sure she's ok with it, but not totally sure how I should handle this. What do you guys think?

I wouldn't lol, in fact if I do it I intend to start with something she'd recognize from our emails, so she'd know it was me who was calling her. |

I call randomly and unexpectedly, but not right away. they dont really seem to mind (if they actually like me). just my opinion though, everyone is different.

i always ask when is the best time to call,if they say anytime,you know it is going to voice mail,so now i ask,when will you answer the phone... i just realized that you are so right! when i first read this, i thought "this guy is wrong! " but, when people ask me, "when's the best time to call?" i always say anytime and if they call when i'm busy, i let it go to voicemail. a better thing to say is, "i'll call you at 6 or 7, is that a good time for you?" |
