I know you are trying to protect me. However, I have been standing On my own two feet For over a quarter century now. When I was a little girl, I wished that my prince would Come and rescue me. I do not need to be rescued anymore. But, that does not mean that I do not want my prince. For you are my prince And my only desire is to have You hold me in your arms. With the wind in my hair And the birds singing And the sun shining golden auburn And continue when the stars light the night. I love you beyond anything that I am Or anything that I will ever be.
