yeah, I could go without for 8 months. It's not the most important thing in a relationship.

Well, I would. Sex isn't the most important thing in a relationship. It's an integral part. But building a good foundation with a person is what should be the main focus. Sex can just complicate things.

It happens when it should happen. Why put a time frame on it?
But to answer the question, yes I would still be involved with someone if they wanted to wait. I think that someone sayin that they wanted to wait 8 months would actually take some of the pressure off. Wouldn't have to worry, Is he gonna try tonight? Wouldn't have to worry about keepin my legs shaved and wearin the "sexy" panties. LOL

Is this supposed to be a "bad" thing?

I normally wait 5-8 months of dating the person before I make that big of an intimate commitment. When I feel comfortable saying that I "LOVE" that person, I feel thats when I am ready to take things to the deepest level and sometimes that can take awhile. Maybe I move at the speed of a snail, but I have no regrets.

I don't think it is right to put a specific date upon when the sex will start. That is supposed to be driven by a spontaneous act that is mutually agreed upon by the lust and love of BOTH partners at the perfect time and place that FEELS right. NOT the mark on the calendar. That is SO cold and un-romantic that it completely defies the logic of how love works. You BOTH will know when the time is right by actions. If one partner does NOT feel the love....then she\he should just communicate that it is not right yet. I hate itineraries when it comes to feelings and relationships.
