If the man wants to come back, bring him back. Im sure the backup qb wouldnt mind makng another few million learning from a living legend while holding a clipboard.

The Thing is I don't think they want Brett back and Brett can't really go back. It's kind of like trying to date an ex-girlfriend again. It just doesn't work.
They should either trade Brett or release him and wish him the best. And your are right it has just started. Most likely it is gonna get nasty before it is over. |

Its going to hurt Brett, no matter if he plays for Green Bay or another team (which would really tick off his fans). All the stories are making him look like a cry baby, and do we really need to hear all that?

They should just release him!

I don't have the NFL network anymore, not untill football season Dude! How can you live without it? |
|
|

Bottom line, he's one of the best QB's of all time and LAST season he was one of the best QB's in the league!
So what's the issue with Green Bay, Play him (or trade him if they're stupid enough to think Rodgers can perform and run the offense as good).... I know my Vikings would love to have him..... |

I don't have the NFL network anymore, not untill football season Get Direct T.V. Problem solved. |

They should release him or trade him so they wont have to hear him again! Like Farve make up ur mind retire or play?? Who u think u are Michael Jordan?

If he'd decided in March he would have been welcomed with open arms. Instead he waits until the last minute, but Green Bay has moved on. Think of how Rodgers would feel the management just threw him out. Green Bay's best move is to trade him somewhere in the AFC that doesn't play in Green Bay this season.
Problem is, Farve doesn't have the time or patience to build a team. If he wants to take a team to the Super Bowl, they have to be ready this year. The team that looks most like that, I'm told is the Vikings. That's why GB won't release him. They'd have to play him twice this season. And they'd look foolish if he wins. It will be odd seeing Farve without a cheesehead on. |

They should just get off the butts and trade him to Tampa, so I can have my team go to the Super Bowl!!!

They offered him 20 million to sit at home...Take it you idiot!!!

Do only men like football? Well, I love it. I think they should let him come back if he wants.

If he want's to play, fine. They should release him from his contract, and let him be a free agent. I'm not certain this is possible under the current collective bargining agreement, but it should be done.
Sure, no one wants to see Favre in anything but green and yellow, but the thing is, you have to respect a guy that just wants one more season in the sun. I mean, does it not break your heart to remember that Johnny U played his final games in San Diego? To see Joe Montana finish in Chiefs red? Why did Emmit Smith have to finish in Arizona? What was anyone thinking when Jerry Rice wasn't kept San Fransico for his last what six seasons? Sometimes, that itch is too hard to scratch guys. Take it from me, I worked my a$$ off once to get an invite to a free agents try out camp. That was just to see how I would have measured up. I ended up tearing my rotator cuff in the gym the day before the try outs. Anyone that's played organized sports at any level can tell you it's hard to leave the comradery of a team. |
