Hmmm, don't know about that one - I think it'd be a case by case decision. I agree that people make mistakes, but there are those that are destined, for whatever reason, to keep repeating the same mistake.

In my opinion, cheating on your partner is never a 'mistake'- one must make a conscious decision to do that. It does not happen without premeditation.

And if someone openly admitted to you that they've cheated in the past, would you be able to give that person 100% of your trust?? No, the first time he/she didn't call when they said.. your mind would automatically "wonder"

This would be difficult. What were the reasons they cheated? Were they young and stupid? Did they not have a good relationship with their partner? There are so many possibilities. If they were honest enough to tell me that they cheated, hmmm, maybe they wouldn't do it again. I would give them a chance.

"not have a good relationship" ?? FIX it or LEAVE.. not an excuse for cheating!

Yeah, but I might like to hear of the circumstances.

I agree with that. I guess I'm just the type of person who wants to hear the whole story and can give someone the benefit of the doubt. People can change. I've seen it.

it depends... now if they were bragging about it and proud of theirselves for cheating hello no i wouldnt... but if they were sincere about it and just being open and honest about it like if they did it once and feel bad about it<guilty like> yes i would for the simple fact usually when plans to cheat on you they would not even be telling you about it..although knowing the reasonings etc yes i would be careful if those reasons ever applied to us. or if i think the reasons given to me would be something that could possibly happen between us would apply then i would not date them...as far as cheaters being sluts sure some are but a lot arent.....depends on how often they did it.... lots of people who have never cheated are also sluts and havent been in relationships... hence someone married 3 times and slept with 5 people all their life as compared to someone never married and slept with 200 people.. now why does being married 3-4 times give someone a bad rap? i dunno.. and married never or once and been with 200 people never get the rap? hummm,,,,
