I was there earlier this summer for 3 weeks. It’s an awesome country. The people are very nice and the cities are very clean it incredible. The public transportation is also top notch you can go anywhere you want to by train. There is a lot to see and do.

That would be fun! I think that Switzerland is also a place I'd want to go. Brazil would be fun too.

I've always wanted to go. I will go when I graduate. The language and culture appeal to me.

i lived in a lil town south of tokyo for a yr. I went to school there my senior yr. took my american studies and graduated there. It was okay, the first 6mo. was great, then I wanted to go home. Its to crowded, stinks in some places, and people act really imature, and it is toooooo expensive!!!!!!!! However, you can see some wonderful sights, that you will never be able to compare in the southern parts of japan.

Any country that sells used panties in vending machines HAS to have some interesting sh!t going on.

ummmm not really
they do have a fantastic mass transit system. But they have to literally shove you in to close the doors they are so crowded. different diet so they smell funny (as I'm sure I do to them). once on my birthday I got a room on the 24th floor. and when I opened the windows I could STILL smell fish but the people are nice and very polite and I did get to see the Kansas City Chiefs (and Montana) playing the Minnesota Vikings (with Warren Moon) in the "Big Egg" |

Sounds like a great place to go too. The japanese culture is absolutely fascinating. The sites alone would compel me to visit. And i would like to see all those stores for anime graphic novels, that would be great!
