Not sure if this is the right forum.But why if you have a drug or alcohol addiction,you can look in your phone book and fing AA or NA meetings everywhere? But if you have a gambling addiction there's only one place to meet.Yes my secret is out gambling has taken over my life for 15yrs.Now I live in a big city and there's only one place for GA meetings I find that to be very sad seeing we have one of the largest casions there is...your thoughts please

Was about to say something flippant, but see that this is serious.
There are incredible resources for help for this and all addictions. The location of the one you found is quite suspect for sure. |

I went yrs ago to a group when I lived in another area,and it just felt so right to be around others going through what I was,but I messed up big time and depression has taken over,I just think society does not realize it's just as bad as any other addiction.Thanks for youe thoughts

if I was you I would try reaching out to people in your area and form your own GA support group.

Keep your head up. You took the first step already, admitting you have a problem. Stay close to positive people, dont put yourself in the wrong position and pray. I will say a prayer for you...Good luck and God Bless
