Morning

Morning awakens warmly,
Such smooth and languid flow,
Touching all the coldest places,
From hidden, deep, repose.

I long to hear your voice,
Touch me close, your whisper,
Soft against my waiting nape,
This hope within my nature.

I cannot wait another,
Long and arduous breath.
Hoping to hear your tender,
Reach within, caress.

It seems eternal moments
Are keeping us a distance.
Just a word to still this heart,
To know that you still mean it.
