met a lot of nice people,,,,an also ran across some that,,,,,,well you know what i'm talking about,it only takes a few bad apples to ruin th whole barrel

Well, let's see....I met 4 of them one night and we had a blast together and have seen all of them again. I'm even going on vacation with one of them! I met another one who I will be getting together with again in the near future. All wonderful people!

I have met one of my best friends from this site...

The very first person I meet off of here and my very first date after becoming single. We are best friends. We call and harass each other about once a week or every two weeks.

I plan on meeting the love of my life in august, but for whatever reason it doesn't work out, there will be no bad talk. He is a wonderful man regardless of how things work out.

Of course, you'll always get the negative and ignorant, no matter where you go, both online and in real life. But, I'll tell you, I've met some really great people here who've brought so much to my life. Some are online "only" friends (at least so far) and others I've met in person, a few who've become some of the best friends I have and one who just may be the love of my life. I'm grateful that I found this place. It's given me so much and I can only hope I've given back just as much.

Its like walking into your favorite bar, seeing people, interacting with people. Then the private conversations, via email and ph.calls

Its a reflection of "real life", its the same song, just different voices.
I do get a different perspective on things, things to think about.

Nah, I would not let them bother me. All we need to do is ignore them. So for me; I am in my second block of classes at college. Feeling good about my grades; better than I thought I might do. Well how about you Shadow? Care to share the positive?

I am meeting my love next month also. I am very happy which was unplanned and very unexpected in my life. I have friends on here with which I speak on the phone almost daily.

Ive tried to get my best friend on here to meet......but I think I scare her!!! Maybe one day!!!!

Oh and Im going to meet longhairbiker soon..........and some other jshers at sturgis maybe!!!

I would also like to meet some other friends Ive had for a long time in vegas or california......

I don't think I realized until I got on this site how many wonderful, fun, silly people there were to know. And, I enjoy the jokes and games and the sweet people, and the people who can appreciate my sardonic sense of humor and perspective.

I have actually met a couple people from a date site. One turned out to be a really great friend!...no real chemistry sexually but, we both acknowledged the fact right up front and have been great friends ever since....still do the occasional road trip just to hang out for a weekend.

Like the icon says, "I love my computer. All my friends live in it."

Well as most know I will be meeting Peccy real soon and this is the best thing that has happened to me in a long while...I'm stoked!!!

I will be meething someone soon I hope. I have a job, it pays for my drugs and alcohol.
