Well the responses have been entertaining. As the number of non seekers increases the chances of finding someone is likely to decrease simply due to the number of false positives that will be made in attempting to contact someone. It is not always obvious in the profile that a person is here simply because they are looking for friends to chat with. Does anyone know of a singles site that is specific to finding someone? I suspect I may be on the wrong single site because I really am looking for someone and given my age I am sort of playing a beat the clock game. Why are you looking at the posts if your on a time schedule?????? If your new, which it looks like you are, try Mutual Matches.....but if you are looking for friends to last a life time stay in the posts and stop asking silly questions! Nah, I say he goes to POF and finds the woman of his nightmares oooops I meant dreams 
can I add him to my contract???????PAHHHLLEEASSEEE????????? The puppies are waiting!

Are you aware that "friends" is an option? This is the best way to meet people. thats such BS !!!!!!!!! how many men have you actually met? 
Speaking as a Man, or at least last time I checked, "Friends" was the _only_ option I considered with well, look left. Now, I'm mushified. Friends I've made here made a rough seperation tolerable, and in spite of my best plans, thoughts and careful analysis about who was an who wasn't right for me, well, looks like I got overpaid.

I am a bit amazed when I see that some members here have well over a thousand posts, and one gal has over 14 thousand. I can't help but wonder why anyone would spend that much time on a single site writing 'posts'. At some point doesn't it all become point-less? Or are they not really looking for someone, but just like to hang out in cyber space? acutally they just ad up, even if your just the smiley posting type...not that I am of course,,,..

oh, and as to that comment about your age.............Sandylou and Wolfspirt met on here last year and just got married in March or April...............and they are both in their mid to upper 60's!!
