Why do I feel like the only person who doesn't want to get married, have any children, or want an intimate relationship? It seems as if nobody wants to live alone, I don't really know why most people don't want to live alone, there is nothing wrong with it.

There is nothing wrong with it if that is how you want it. We all make our choices.

I think it's just the idea that we have someone to share our lives with, that loves us for who we are, and will be there for us and stick by us through thick and thin no matter what. Can't quite have that when you're living alone.

I live alone 1/2 the week, my son 3 days.....best way to be, i love it.

Sorry everyone, but I agree with this cutie! I prefer to live alone...more time naked on my couch. I don't want to get married..been there done that and got the divorce papers.
No kids aloud! Mine are all adults and it's MY time now!!!!!!

I dont like being alone, but if it is meant for me to find someone then I will.

Some people fear it, others just desire it out of never having it before, and then there are people like you who are just used to it and accept it.

You kind of have to blame the media on that one, for making people believe it is the way of life. Relationships like that is not for everyone, though we wish to believe it is, and that it is absolute happiness.

You can lay naked all the time on the couch I wouldn't say a word.....matter of fact my ex and I use to lay on the couch naked all the time...

Dude...I dig my solitude. It has nothing to do with feeling lonely. I truly understand Pred.....I too have no interest in what the rest of the world wants. Sure, I enjoy pleasant female company...(Exactly the reason I am here)....But, never gonna get married/divorced, any woman of mine will damned sure have her own place (home) and only gets one drawer in my house.

At this point, I am a fully developed adult with my own life. I expect the woman that I am with to have her own life as well. If time can be mutually shared, then fine. If not, I know very well that I have made it this far without anyone that I have dated.
