I'll talk to a guy if he gets my attention and seems interesting. I don't waste my time searching for someone to talk to...I'm not that desperate.
BUT... how do you kno if hes interesting? The only way you would know is if you went up to talk to him or, if he went up to talk to you. So how would you know if your wasting your time or not if you never took the initiative to find out if he was interesting or not?

I'm not afraid to go talk to anyone...but I'm not going to just go talk to whomever. I mean, there has to be something about him that makes me interested...to put forth the effort.

I agree completely.. I also agree with whomever said maybe you dont know the difference between women and girls... and there is one trust me.. I see someone post in forums and like what they have to say , theyre sense of humor Ill email them first..

Okay, so it appears I am one of a few of the mindset of if I want something I'm going to go after it. So if I find a guy interesting than YES I will make the first move.

Rejection happens, you can live your life wondering what if or take a risk and maybe find the best thing that ever happen to you.

I personally would rather risk the rejection (it's not like I've not subjected men to rejection from me) so it all balances out.

ok...ummm...if you had a little more confidence in yourself, then you dont really have a problem starting the conversation. the hard part is trying to think of something out of the ordinary to catch their attention. be a little witty, but respectful at the same time and dont be afraid to have fun
i do have the confidence to talk to girls.. the problem is that when i go up to them they think im the same as every other guy, a "player". which im not.
