in the lottery, would it last you the rest of your life?
Nope.
probably not, after I took care of myself and my family.
As long as I don't get married, date, eat, live, travel, drive, or have any kids.

you wont even bring home the whole million, so no!!
I'd make it last as long as I can

1 million? ppffttt........ That's it?
I would blow that on a house and taking my family out on a vacation. Then guess what? I would be $999,960,000.00 short of being a millionaire. |

sure, at current bank interest rate of %2.7 for a cd...you would have $27K a year in income. That, with the free health care and all the tax breaks we're gonna get after November, and the huge drop in energy prices we are being gauranteed, you should be able to live like a presidential candidate for the rest of your lives.

I'd make it last as long as I can very wise words I would too |
It might, if the business I'd establish would be stable.

it may not last my whole life but I will be completely out of debt, have a whole lot of fun. My parents and immediate family would be out of debt as well. It's much easier to to make money last lol when you have no debt

About a quarter of that would go to paying off my med school loans. :-p But I'm sure I'd square a good chunk of it away as a retirement fund. I'm just practical like that. However, if I wanted to buy a house in California that amount probably wouldn't even be enough :-p

My dream is still to live in the Bay Area some day. |
