It is not only very possible, people do it all the time. You will attract what you think about whether you want it or not. You will attract what you worry about. You attract what you believe whether you want or not.

So how do people attract what they don't want? I will tell you.

People think negative thoughts and make negative statements. Your subconscious mind does not know that this is not what you want. It does not comprehend the negative, it only sees the vision. The vision is the prayer. The vision is the request.

A person says something like this:

"I always get sick during the holidays."

The word is a very powerful thing in the implicate order and so is the thought. Even more powerful is the belief.

The word, the thought the belief that you "always get sick during the holidays..." will make it so. You will get sick during the holidays as soon as your subconscious mind accepts this information. The subconscious mind accepts all information and visual pictures as fact. It accepts it as an order to create that. Its job is to create for you what you request or visualize.

In a finer world of higher frequencies a strong word, thought and visual picture will instantly create that which is requested.

But in this dense physical world where we are bound by time and space and dense matter, things take longer. All that manifests has to manifest by way of normal channels and out of the material and means available inside the matrix. Most of the time they do not appear out of thin air or instantly.

(I say most of the time, but sometimes they do and it is certainly possible.)

Very insightful Jeannie! I really appreciate you sharing your story. I personally do believe in this! It is also written in the bible that if you have faith of a mustard seed, you can move mountains. I can definitely compare the two.

Some Christians do not believe in tha Law of Attraction. But it's written in plain english in the bible.

No moutain was moved in 2000 years so I have to wait and see if any mountain will move in the next ........2000 years .laugh laugh .

laugh Do you really have faith? You have to believe in something. Do not underestimate the power of your mind!

You do not have to believe in something if you are not convinced it is the truth and the whole truth . Following the crowd including the politicians and the preachers is a bad and sad attitude that humans must throw away once and for all .

I will disagree with you on one thing. You don't have to believe in the law of attraction in order for it to work.

I don't remember saying that you have to believe in it for it to work. I think what I was trying to say is that if you want to attract positive result into your life then you have to believe in positive things.

As far as saying that your current state is what you attracted to yourself I think that's pretty obvious in most cases. If you're life's a mess you probably made it that way.

But isn't that obvious anyway even without a "Law of Attraction"?

Life is what you make it.

You are what you are.

I do think though that are times when things happen to people that they didn't necessarily attract. Like old age for example. laugh

Other things too, like disease and freak accidents.

Although in truth I can't say for sure.

As far as my own personal life is concerned the Law of Attraction may very well be perfectly true. I've never had anything happen to me that I didn't deserve (or at least attract).

I think it is possible to attract things we don't want.

To attract the things we do want I think we need to make a conscious effort to do that.

Some people may very well be self-destructive too. Maybe even in ways that they aren't aware of.

I know that I'm horribly self-destructive myself, but I'm also so damn tough that I'm basically indestructible. So as hard as I try to destroy myself I just can't achieve any results. laugh

laugh What doesn't destroy you only makes you stronger. So that kind of defeats the purpose of trying to destroy youself! laugh

You just explained the Laws Of Attraction. That's for sure. And as far as being obvious, do not underestimate the people who are not aware!

All I'm saying is that if someone has no beliefs what so ever, that would be an extremely depressing way to live. When I say faith, it could mean may things. It's limitless. For instance, do you have faith in yourself?

I agree that people should stand for something. And they need to know what it is they stand for. So if they want to delve into the churches to find that purpose, I do not see a problem with it. Even if I do not believe the same way. If they want to research their own political persona, then more power to them. Granted all politicans lie to the public about issues they plan to carry out. But the fact still remains that whether you care to delve into politics or not, we are still going to suffer the repercussions of their decisions. So if you do not plan to research the political views of our politicians and vote, then you really do not have a leg to stand on. Figuratively speaking.
