. Everyone concentrates on the problems we're having in this country lately; illegal immigration, hurricane recovery, alligators attacking people in Florida Not me. I concentrate on solutions for the problems. It's a win-win situation. + Dig a moat the length of the Mexican border. + Send the dirt to New Orleans to raise the level of the levies. + Put the Florida alligators in the moat along the Mexican border. Any other problems you would like for me to solve today? On singing OUR National Anthem in Spanish I'm sorry, but after hearing they want to sing OUR National Anthem in Spanish - enough is Too much! NEVER did they sing it in Italian, Japanese, Polish, Irish-Celtic, German, Portuguese, Greek, French, or any other language because of immigration. It was written by Francis Scott Key and should be sung word for word the way it was written. The news broadcasts gave a translation that's NOT even close. Sorry if this offends anyone, THIS IS MY COUNTRY! Do YOU - sing MY National Anthem in YOUR COUNTRY IN ENGLISH ? ? ? And, because I make this statement DOES NOT mean I'm against immigration!!! YOU ARE WELCOME HERE IN MY COUNTRY. Welcome to come through like everyone else has.< /B> Get a sponsor ! Get a place to lay your head ! Get a job ! Live by OUR rules ! Pay YOUR taxes ! And LEARN THE LANGUAGE LIKE ALL OTHER IMMIGRANTS HAVE IN THE PA ST!!! AND PLEASE DON'T DEMAND THAT WE HAND OVER OUR LIFETIME SAVINGS OF SOCIAL SECURITY FUNDS TO YOU TO MAKE UP FOR ''YOUR'' LOSSES. it always has bother me that people come to usa. i wont try to speak english.then we have a guy running for president. who wants us to learn spanish. why we speak english here.it even bothers me more. when i first came to usa. i was 4 years old. i new no english.i did not see no one running to my aid.after 43 years in america. i have lost my russian accent. speak english or LEAVE.

LOL...I think it's funny that some here would point out grammatical errors with people they disagree with only... I think the term is hypocrisy. Not only do we have to deal with much more gramtically challenged left wingers but they don't even know how to make paragraphs or use periods... it's like one loooooonnnnggg breath. As if they stopped to inhale someone might challenge their mind numb responses LOL Calling the kettle black are we? Maybe ideas would be shared better if some here could actually post grammatically correct posts. Yu think?

no i guess my family was not rich like most. i think proper English only counts at school. in the real world. as long as they no what you mean. that's close enough.

Why I said that was words like neighbour, favour, and colour. In British and Canadian English, these words have an "OU" where as American English do not. I lived in the US and I am aware that grammar, among many other things, are an issue. And that if you didn't know any better some may think they are correcting you but in essence they are not always correct. Just like I've said before, Just because something is different , it doesn't make it wrong.

i live in the south, the grammar here is real bad. i speak Russian with a southern accent.

The national anthem is just some words put together by someone ; the flag is a piece of cloth made by a person . Do we really need symbols to control our lives ?. I do not think so . We have more pressing issues that we should concentrate on .....etc.
