I did the depo thing too for awhile too and had the weight gain.. So stopped that..
Long long time ago had the norplant implants in my arm.. very effective but not sure they do those anymore... Had a total hysterectomy in 2001 so dont have to worry about it anymore...it was always a pain in the butt to remember the pill ... |

well, they put me on the pill.... oh well... I will just have to remember to take it... gggrrrrrr.... she said that I have an hour leway either way... so I guess I'm ok... and when I have more money I'll look into IUD, but I plan on having more kids in about 2 year or so.... so I don't know if its worth the price... I dont know oh well.... at least if I take the pill when I am suppose to... I'll be ok until I can fit a kido into my education plan.

ok ladies the couch is open..... What bugs the crap out of you....about anything. What bugs me is when people, especially guys, tell you they will call you at a certain time, and you wait and wait and finally when they do contact you hours or even a day later they say,"Sorry, I forgot." Give me a break. YES! That makes me crazy! I've had the "I'll call you tomorrow" and have a week or more pass! Is it really possible to have THAT poor a concept of time???

no more babies for this sista! my ex was fixed but now dating makes me a little weary what to do? what to do? do you think condoms are the best way to go? for B/C, to use them is a give in for STD's but as a form of B/C are they really a good option? I hate the pill, bad migranes If you are done having babies you might want to try an IUD and of course condoms until in a committed relationship. personally, I hate having something else in control of my body, I am thinking about talking with the nurse practioner about an IUD, but I dont know how expensive it will be. And I am bad about taking the pill on time and not missing a dose. I was on the depo shot when I was 16 to about 19 years ago... I gained so much weight and hated being on it. Oh .... my friend Courtney is on the nuveo ring, she loves it, but its so expensive without insurance. I was on the depo shot and I too gained weight. And you know what else I gained? A BABY!! That's right. I got pregnant while on it. Apparently I was one of the .1% that can get pregnant using it. Go figure? I am seriously considering having my tubes tied though, cause I really really don't want to have any more children. My one is enough to make me happy
