I think ring pops should be used.... That way if it doesn't work out... You won't have that bitter taste in your mouth... You can enjoy your ring pop....

no you are wrong on that.......it is a gift.... to be kept....not a symbol of a contractual agreement... she gets to keep it Etiquette dictates that the ring should be returned unless the gentleman insists the lady keep it. I have to agree, engagement rings are fictional symbols of a union, but reality property and a gift, unfortunately that means it he/she gets to keep it. I don't think I'd want the ring back unless it was a family heirloom. Can you imagine getting it and then giving it to someone else? I've never given a ring. I do know a girl at school who caught her fiance in bed with another woman. They met at a large mall so she could give back the ring (she didn't want anything to do with the guy). He begged her to keep it and refused to take it back. She took it off her finger and threw it as far as she could. The guy then started to say, "I can't believe you did that.
