I see alot, and I mean alot- of people online.
My question is who are they all talking to?
You never see them on the forums.
I have a hard time talking with complete strangers
on IM. I would much rather talk on the posts
first, and e-mail before I IM with anyone.
Am I being ole' school?
Maybe thats why I have'nt got a date yet.

I'm beginng to think that nobody wants to date , they just want to look, or they are just too picky

When I first join this site, people told me to ineract with others etc.

I guess that along with MM doesn't work very well.

i would rather talk thru email, or im on the site before i give my IM to anyone. you wouldnt believe the guys who just up and email their phone numbers and be like "call me". like i will that soon, lol.

People do seem kinda picky, I mean woman want a million dollar man, or some one that's been in jail or something to that, while guys mostly want to get some action or have a good fun time.

There is no winning.

Not at all. The advantages to chatting up people in the forums is that you can fold your laundry, run and get a drink, or balance your checkbook...all while you post. You won't have to keep saying "brb"....and no one will know what you are doing...or even that you are doing anything.

Thinking positive is something picked up on by others. Get out there and talk to others on the forum who you find interesting. I've many friends like that who keep me afloat during the rough times.

There are a bunch of flaky people. A bunch. You just have to get used to it and keep going. I've met women who turned out to be 'sex only' and women who are still hurting from their pasts. I've met women who like to just know someone is out there who finds them attractive.

Keep looking and you will find someone who fills your mind with answers. They could be right in front of you. I hope everyone can find someone here even though it isn't realistic.

I choose all of the above. There are times for im/email in the private sector and posting for things you do not mind being public.

I really only email the people I meet on the forums...so if I'm here, but not active in the forums, I'm emailing some of them back and forth. I can spend hours emailing and not say a thing in the forums sometimes...not often though...tooo damn nosy. HA!

When I do a search in my area, these folk are never online, I never see them in the forums. I see their profiles on other sites. And I wonder about them, Are they getting what ever it is they are seeking?
