why people get so nervous about meeting someone in person??? What is the worst that can happen??? You don't like each other and then you move on.

I think it's the idea that you invested all this time in a person, to the point of meeting them in real life, only for things not to work.

I can give you a reason....ever had a guy whip it out when you're trying to leave in your car...just steps up to your window to say bye and asks if you want to see it? That is why people get nervous...cause you gotta wonder if this cool person you been talking to is actually cool.

I think it is because most people are not being honest and they are afraid to be exposed for their true self. If honest up front, then rejected in person, they can take comfort in the fact that it was because the other was just not right for them.

Alot of people use the online thing to to feel good about themselves. They hide behind the computer so they wont get hurt. But still get the satisfaction of feeling wanted.

I think some people have the "take it slow" attitude But in my opinion, which I think was posted in a different forum, it is better earlier I think a good personality is hott But if you aren't the least bit attracted to the person...not gonna happen Better to know up front :]
