Well, maybe the bully, bullied someone 2 minutes ago, that would be in the past.....no? I suppose. So then at what point is the past the past? I suppose everything is. Makes you tilt your head and struggle to get a hold on things doesn't it? I know it does for me that is why I try not to have knee jerk reactions to things. The question posed would be easy to answer with NO. But I am not so confident and sure with such a blunt answer. I do know that people who hit, have usually been hit in the past. Sometimes by people who they like or love and somewhere along the lines they might equate that behavior with love/like. Many people mistake kindness with weakness and being that they do not want to be weak they go to the extreme opposite in hopes that they will make them strong. I am sure of this. If I were being bullied and I had the strength and mind to not return that behavior, but instead returned it with pacify (not cowardess), eventually that bully would not bully me anymore. Now if the bully were a sociopath there may not be any hope for them and I probably would not want to be around them, nor be their friend. But in my experience the biggest brutes are the ones in the most pain and with just a little bit of understanding and guidance they realize there is another path in life which is more rewarding. They want to be a better person and release themselves from the pain of anger and violence they just do not know how unless someone shows them. All kids are bullies so if someone bullied you in school you just have to shed that experience and maybe consider them again when you are adults. (i wasnt directing that statement to you, just in general) |

Lots of thoughts and feelings put into that one. You are truly a thinker with a good head on your shoulders. |

My thoughts right now tell me i have to go to sleep because i have to be up in 4 hours and work a 10 hour day. Goodnight and always remember and never forget the common path leads to apathy, outside of the box is discovery. |
