I hate smoking and anyone who wishes to smoke ought not to smoke near me . Sam that doesn't help because afterwards they stink their hair stink of smoke

re think that answer because an addiction to anything is tuff she has to want to quit not because you want her to its to early in the relationship yet you are trying to change her she is going to fold under presure no women wants her other half to make her feel bad about her. if some one were trying to change me right away i would re think the relationship

I'm not controlling her, she can do whatever she wants aside from smoking rewind the tape and listen to that again .... that IS controlling. I understand the health aspects, I understand the preference to not be around cigarettes, I understand the smell of smoke on everything ... but you cannot make her do anything. And nagging will likely only make it worse. You can choose to not be around it. You can ask her to not smoke around you. You can choose to not move forward with the relationship if it really is a boundary with you. But her giving up the habit has to come from her.

Nope, and don't try to make her quit. As long as she is respectful around you with her cigs, you should care about her, not her habits!!!!

unfortunately she cannot quit for you. she can only quit for herself. i hope she does - for herself. if she wants to quit you can help her by keeping her busy and being supportive and understanding. if she doesn't want to quit then she still needs your understanding and support.
