Canadian soldiers who returned from Afghanistan took a part in Quebec City celebrating 400 years since the French came there . Angry protesters were calling the Canadian soldiers " terrorists "
and as a result it was an ugly scene .
Canadians in the huge majority are against both wars in Iraq and in Afghanistan.
I guess when you kill innocent people you are a terrorist in the eyes of the protesting people .
The CBC ( Canadian Broadcasting Corporation ) and other news media had some coverage of this incident .

That's so sad! Soldiers do what soldiers are told to do. To take any anger out on those serving their own country is not fair.

It all depends on how you want to define it. After all, the U.S. had Nelson Mandella on the list of terrorists until the other week.

Personally, the political right to protest is the most patriotic actions a person can take. After all, in this country, we fought a revolution over the right to speak up and speak out and gather together to discuss and demonstrate against the government.

It is the very foundation of this country. And yet now people want to vilify the protester. To condemn the protester. To tell them if they don't like it, move to another country.

I just don't get it that attitude in the U.S. to what is the most fundamental American value.
