I just wanted to share this with anyone who may be interested.

I had to purchase a new pool this year. the other one a 15' round above ground sprung a leak so I upgrades to a 18' round above ground. When I got it it had an advertising on the DVD that comes with it about Intex Heavy Duty Saltwater Pool Filter System. Apparently instead of clorine it uses salt I thought cool save me money so I bought it $178 at Walmart online. I got it, it called for 135 lbs of 99.5% salt I used water softener pellets which I needed 180 lbs of I'm guessing due to either my hard water or that pellets don't equal the same amount as fine grade. I got the system going and it is fantastic. The water is great and clean and I don't have to bother with chemicals it even turns on for the amount of time scheduled everyday at the same time cool but the draw back is that I have to manually turn on the filter pump (this moves the water into the system the system only cleans the water.

Have a friend of mine that works for a guy their in ground pool is salt water. He use to have problems with his skin cracking since he has been swimming in that pool he does not have that problem says he loves the it. It is so much better for your skin even don't make your eyes burn like the chlorine does.

Sure you will enjoy it much better.
