Very normal lol And you'll bounce back and forth over it...especially as time goes by and heals some of the sting off the wounds...you'll start thinking more about the good times than the bad.

Of course that is normal. I cried my eyes out the day my divorce was final. I cried through the whole divorce hearing. It takes time to heal. Keep your chin up. If you need to talk send me a note.

Very normal. She's the mother of your children, she was your wife for 17 years, that's a lot of history ... even if it isn't all good. Good luck to you. A lot of us have felt the same way, it gets easier! flowerforyou

Its very normal my friend. I cant begin to tell you all the emotions I had and even though its been 12 yrs since our divorce there are times I still think about it. It turns out she is happy and has a good life and is the most dedicated and loving mom to our 2 boys. I can only say time is the best medicine. U can mail me if you need to talk.
Best of luck to you

Sounds like you're feelin a bit better than yesterday when ya posted this. Just wanted to say I agree with those here who said what you are feeling is normal. That's big chunk of your life and a lot of memorable life events.

I remember telling my girls that I will always be their father, and that there will always be some kind of a relationship between the four of us until we were all in the ground. And that it is up to us to determine what that relationship will be. Fortunately, this has been a very amicable divorce.

It is very normal sir. Just because two people love each other doesn't mean they are right for each other. That is what people do not understand. People should be adults and cash out when they know their time is up. Otherwise they let it linger and linger until they Hate each other. When there are kids involved, they need to see both sides are cooperative for their sake. Children are a product of love.

I know you hurt right now my friend, but keep your chin up. What is not easy, but right the right thing builds men into stronger men. Perhaps you can pass your experiences down to your children, as you seem like a very lovable dad.
