Some people criticize others for not voting because they see it as a right so therefore you should vote. But does that mean you should be forced or feel obligated to vote for someone you really don't like?

If you didn't like any of the candidates that were running or anything that they stood for, would you still vote?

still have the option of writing in a candidate.

should they/we feel obligated to vote period? yes

America is a democracy and everybody can vote - male, female, all races and religions.

That is what separates us from many other countries.

That is one of the main reasons that America is the best place to live.

Well by that logic you don't have any right to complain about anything the President does or any Supreme Court decisions you don't like since you neither vote for the President or the Judicials on the Supreme Court. And no, the Popular vote doesn't count. Pretending to vote isn't the same as actually voting. Sorry.

Why not? I already know who I am going to vote for, but if I didn't like the candidates running, why don't I still have the right to complain?
