You can set some IM programs to stealth mode. People can't see if you are online. So you can really lurk....

Resistance is futile, and pretty soon you all will be steathly, zipping in and out of stealth mode, IM and email with 3 different people, heck you won't even know if you are online. You will be assimilated to Mingle2.
