I was about 12 or so and I smoked until I was 45. I also quit drinking,
too, after about a 30-year habit. I quit cold turkey Sept. 30, 2003, and have not smoked anything nor had one drop of alcohol since. And I know if I can do it, anyone can. Addiction is a very psychological thing..it's also physical, but you have to take the correct steps to combat the physical before you can address the psychological addiction. At least, that's what I've found to be true. |

I was 22, just seemed to be the perfect companion to the scotch and
rocks I drank when we went out. Quit one for about 7 years, started again when I was depressed. The patch really works though, if you can affort the damn things. |

I was about 12 when I started. Quit during both my pregnancies and
started again after finishing breastfeeding. Quit again for a year about 3 years ago... and started again at a school class reunion Still expecting to stop sometime along the line... |

I wish all who want to quit all the luck
