As I search the skies for that star.
Wondering where you are.
Distance is never too far.
I would drive to you by car.

But I can not deny.
For love I would fly.

Just for one to rescue my soul.
I would never control.
I would only console.
With my love we would be whole.

I would give you my soul and my heart.
I promise from the start.
We would never be apart.

As we watch the desolated moon.
I would make your heart swoon.
It might take all afternoon.
But you would know soon.

It might take me all night.
Maybe even till the first sunlight.
That is alright.
For it would be such a delight.

I would not fret if it was this way.
You would hear me say.
My love I will not betray.
I will always be here to stay.
