there are other causes which is a tumour on the puturity gland in the brain, but they think inhaled steroids is the cause of mine.

im off to my next appt. ill update you all when i get back, dont feel like going to another hospital right now, but i have no choice

Yesterday I read up on Addison's. Now I'm reading up on Cushing's. Not pretty!! I hope you have the kind that can be treated or get to be one who goes into remission. I'm so sorry!!

thanks everyone. the 2nd appt didnt go a bad, hes found a very tender spot on the right side of my abdomen and ive got to have a scan.

however the doctor gave me some anesthetic cream, only they gave me the wrong one, and its for numbing body parts where tubes go into,like a colonoscopy, and not to be used on cuts and open wounds, and i found out the hard away, and have been jumping round the house, it stung to HELL. wtf is wrong with these doctors. everyone else thought it was funny lol

ive got cushings, but if i stop the inhaled steroids ill have a addisons crisis. basically my paturity gland is telling my adrenal glands not to work because the artificial ones are doing it instead. but if i stop the artificial ones, ill die because my adrenal glands wont ajust basically due to damage plus my asthma wouldnt be controlled without the inhaled steroids. its a vicious circle.
