The Book was a LOT better. (Actually this was a short story.)
But most of his books turned movies are better, And the movies always seem to end different than the books. Sometimes for the better but not this time |

I read the book many years ago.
I preferred the movie. The ending was sad, but bitterly ironic. And I believe there was a scene in the book in which the main character has intercourse with the blonde woman, which was not cool. Reading about/seeing infidelity makes me uncomfortable.

I hated it! I gotta agree with you! I thought it was awful...way to much babbling in it...the preacher chick p*ssed me off ...It did'nt even hold my interest towards the end. |
