You'd rather they just sat in their car and did nothing all night?

Some night they might not be there to "hassle" someone and that someone WILL pull something rotten in your neighborhood and the first club out of your bag will be, "Why didn't the cops do something?".

Ridiculous.
Instead of hassling somebody just sitting on a freaking park bench, she could be out catching the people as she speaks to me. Like the robbers, the rapists and murders. I am how much trouble am I really cause sitting down? Cops need to be just a tad bit more observant.

Some police officers can be harsh it is the nature of the beast. They clean up so much mess that none of us would be prepared to deal with. I sometimes feel sorry for them specially in the USA where they have to protect their lives as well as not make a mistake with a felon's life. and don't blame them to consider every one they approach as a felon unless proven otherwise.

I am not trying to disrespect anybody. But still does not mean I can not be annoyed.

Nobody seems to like a cop until they need one.
Personally there's nuthin sexier than a man in that tight uniform with that utility belt all loaded up. Big reason, I used to be a deputy myself. LOL

Used to, when we stopped someone, it was our departmental policy to explain why we stopped them...99.5% of the time, I told the people I stopped that they matched the desription of someone in the area who robbed a bank, etc...afterwards, I had to give them my business card and explain to them if they for whatever reason felt I was unprofessional or mistreated them in any way, they could file a greivance....I only had about 3, and I was exhonerated from each of them.

Do you think they've been having some kind of trouble in the area...maybe it's a good thing and this kind of checking is what is keeping your neighborhood safe and sound. flowerforyou
I don't know, you would think after she found out I was clean she would of apologized for bugging me.
Yeah...that would have been the courteous thing to do for sure. flowerforyou

She WAS observant. She saw you doing something that seemed odd. Maybe you did something that she previously saw someone do, and in THAT situation she had to take appropriate action. You fiddling around on a park bench with cords or whatever it was you were digging for in your purse set something off in her mind. I'd rather you be thankful she WAS observant. Unless you're guilty of something, you have nothing to worry about....
