Nothing to Miss The more I read, the more I see That I'm not missing much The people talk of boobs and farts And booze they drink, and such They don't care to interact On any higher levels They just want to spew their trash They're ignorant, these devils And when you try to interject With something that is clever They roll their eyes, they hit report They sigh and say "whatever" I feel they're sullying this place With talk that's low and trashy They seek attention, using tricks They're loud and brash and flashy For those who can communicate With subtlety and wit Frustration grows each passing day We just get sick of it Those who speak the truth to those Who do not want to hear Are not welcome in this place At least that much is clear I'll wander on my merry way I won't look back, that's certain And say goodbye to those who hate And don't care who they're hurting ... for those who really matter
It's not "this place" per se  The kind of behaviour you're talking about only seems to be in certain forums. Very few if any haters in poems and creative writing  ....It's why I tend to hang out HERE...It's nice to have you here {{{Fran}}}
