depression - i realize now how horrible a disease it can be for some and we can't love someone out of it. But there's great treatments, should they choose to accept them. Some people get too comfortable with that, though. |

hmmm, I'd say I'm kinda afraid of apathy, because you can't really fix that. If your loved one ever gets to the point where he/she is apathetic toward you, I'd say that's good time to give up.

Doing some research... What is something of which you find yourself overly-sensitive because of a past relationship/relationships? i.e. cheating, lying, drinking/drugging, homosexual tendencies... I'm not overly-sensitive about anything anymore. If an issue arises, I can get upset and I can forgive. If I find myself involved with a woman who's choices in life are detrimental to our relationship, I try and work through it or I'll cut my losses and move on. Just because my last ex was emotionally abusive, slept around and all that, doesn't mean the next woman I meet will be like that. |

I learned, over time, that I need to avoid getting involved with anyone who uses drugs or alcohol, or who has kids. Those scenarios simply don't work for me.
