Ok, earlier this morning I posted that today my daughter, Mashona 10, was competing for Miss Mississippi Jr. Teen. Just want to say THANKS to all that wished her GOOD LUCK! SHE WON!!!!!!!! She won Most Beautiful, Prettiest Eyes, Prettiest Hair, Prettiest Smile, and the Title of Miss PreTeen Mississippi 2008-09...... Just got home too, and man I am beat!, but it was all worth it!!!

Thanks guys..... She is truly a terrific young lady and I am so proud of her. I will have some better pics tomorrow after I go and get them developed, some really good ones to share. There were 146 young ladies there today, and all were beautiful. Again Thanks, it means alot to me. Lisa

Ya'll are terrific U KNOW THAT?????? Thanks. U know when I got in from the pageant and taking Mashona out to a late dinner I was kind of feeling a little sad, even though I am so HAPPY for her winning. Her dad is not around (his choice) to enjoy moments like this, and it bothers me. She has never said anything about it bothering her, but sometimes, like times like this, I just wonder does it????? Maybe it is just me, who knows. With all that she has accomplished at such a young age, and all that is in her future, I will be the PROUD MOTHER of a great child. You all made me smile and feel better, THANKS a bunch for that!
