maybe at one point they tried to love and it blew up in their face possibly several times. so they have given up cause they have just gotten to their snapping point. so now every time that person sees others in love it might be a slap in his/her face because that is something they cant have or that is something that has never worked for them so now their jelous of people that love.

They wish they had that love. Jealousy and envy have crept in and they have become bitter. Chances are it gets worse everyday...until they start to change their attitude.

Unfortunately since they blame everyone else but themselves for the lack of love in their life the change in attitude is all but impossible to achieve.

I agree with Apasserby about this, because I see the other side of this theory so it makes sense to me. I love to watch people in love because it reminds me of the wonderful times I've had in my past. I have not really had a bad ending relationship, but can see how others happiness might conjure resentments in those who have. I think it's very sad...love is a beautiful thing to behold...even when you're not the one beholding it.

The love is all there in your heart... It is why I love you. Possibly not the type of love you seek, but you are loved even if you do not realize it. You have hopes and dreams not anger and resentment. That was clear to me the first time we ever talked my friend...

The one's we should feel resentment toward's are the one's that held back their love from us. And, let us make a fool of ourselve's with our blind love for them.
