I don't know what I would do but I would feel .

That would be pretty hard for someone here to do but really I wouldn't be to upset unless they had stolen valuable information or crashed my system .
Ofcourse I don't actually store valuable information on my computer so it wouldn't matter to me . They might see my secret porn stash and that would be embaressing but as long as they didn't tell anyone who really cares . |

Highly doubtful first off. You would have likely had to run a program they gave you. Did you? I doubt it.

Highly doubtful first off. You would have likely had to run a program they gave you. Did you? I doubt it. Well someone here told me that someone else hacked into a computer here and what was found. I just think it is awful! They would need to exploit a security flaw. Most of these flaws do not allow access to the computer, instead they allow the person to lock up or reboot the computer. That is very costly to businesses. It is also bothersome. A remote program would allow control over the computer or access the files on the computer. These are usually there due to a virus. Another possibility is a key logger program. That will keep track of what you type and the send it off to a remote system where the contents are viewed. Again a program with a virus would have have been executed. If you think your system has been hacked pull the internet cable and do a full level scan for viruses. After this make sure no spyware is installed. There are free programs that help you with both viruses and spyware. Most hacked systems are used as zombie computers. All they want to do is have your system send packets to a system which they want to crash. Let's say ATT.COM is the target. The person will train his zombie army to fload the website with packets making it unreachable. |
