So my norton is telling me I need to back up my computer. I tired it two times already, it does half and then say there is an error.

Do you think if I delete more thing off my computer it will finish fully or is there something else I can do?

what are you backing it up to? Might be you are exceeeding the data space on your backup media....just select the files that are important and back them up...

you could get an external hard drive...throw everything on there

Yeah. Get yourself an external hard drive. You can get a decent 400 MB drive from Seagate for about two-hundred bucks.

And Norton would be the LAST thing I'd use for backups. Comodo makes a pretty decent backup utility program that does a fast job of stuff like that. And it's free, too.

Just out of my mind here. Depends on how full your hard drive is, Secondly were did you set the "Amount of data" to reserved for backing up? Which is also in your "System restore" The slider bar adjust to the amount you wish to use.
If your hard drive is full, and you don't want to get rid of everything. Buy either an external hard drive or add one if you have the room and extra plug in's..(cables)

Drive ImageXML is an excellent app for complete backup and very simple restore.
