Good, all those F*&#^rs talking crap about smokers...... Look at that smoke from them fireworks. That crap is horrible for our air and bad for the environment with starting fires and such anyways. There should be designated places to light fireworks otherwise people get sited. This should be provided by those who actually sell fireworks, and should provide concession stands as well or have other sanctioned areas like a park for people to bbq or whatever if they want to feast and light fireworks. To many kids getting bad grades but knowing how to build bombs out of egg flour and sparklers these days.
They don't have to ban them, but they should be better supervised and have designated areas..... (waiting for a certain reply, go ahead and say it) |

California is a little goofy(OK, wipe that smirk off your faces.)
Firecrackers are illegal and only certain firworks are legal in certain counties in the state. All are banned here in SD. |

Got that right. They don't call it "The Peoples' Republic of California" for nuthin'. I can only think of one or two towns that CAN sell fireworks, and they're WAAAY out in the boonies, particularly in the Palmdale/Lancaster/Antelope Valley area. There's literally NOTHING out there except for desert living in its finest. And the fireworks they CAN sell are the "safe-and-sane" things, which are a kin to seeing the end of your doob light up. In fact, most fireworks typically end up making their way to Cali from other states, namely Nevada and Arizona and even Tijuana in Mexico. |

Wait, don't think I buy drugs. Everyone knows who sells drugs when dude works at McDonald's and drives a BMW around late at night around the neighborhood stopping in front of people waiting on the corner, then they hand him something and he drives off. The people say that same person has M-100's if you wanna buy them.

they sell them in Missouri
but are banned in a lot of areas of Missouri go figure after watching my oldest child heal daily from 3rd degree burns from fireworks last 4th of July I won't be around any more again in life not knocking anyone that uses them just expressing my thoughts on the matter |

oh well... it'll be better for the air if they banned them anyway. I love fireworks, but my allergies are bad enough with all the fires and pollution.

I'm in central cali and they're already setting up stands... so I'm not sure where in Cali you're saying they're banned... There are exceptions to who can sell "illegal" fireworks, like non-profit groups and school fundraisers. Other than that, they're totally illegal here in Cali, except for those safe-and-sane deals, and I believe they might have been made illegal at one point as well. http://www.news10.net/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=43751&catid=2 |
