My family has fought
for this country
since the revolutionary war.
Weve protected our ports
and defended foreign shores

Everyone of us will you
that war is a crime
the sights, the sounds, the smells
of your buddies dying.

But thats not just a buddy
thats a father, son, or daughter
and only the insane
would want them to be slaughtered.

This is my nephew Mikey
he's been in Iraq since day one
i can't tell you what his job is
but he sure gets it done.

No one in this country
would want to see him be harmed
isn't that the way
of our big hearted charm

But as in the past
our hearts have affected our brians
just as predicted
in the early Bin Laden tapes

here's to our soldiers my dad was military, my brothers both served...may this country give our soldiers the respect they deserve!

I am scared,sad,anxiety,panic....

He is my son ....I am affraid for him no matter what anyone says...

I am affraid for all our Millitary...

But when it's ur son in my case....I am going out of my mind some days....
