Long ago within a dream,
Young and though as old I seem.
Long ago those teenage eyes,
Weighted down, all those cries.

So it seemed I'd never see,
Love or life, joy or glee.
Written words of other dreams,
Deep inside I felt the screams.

Screams I heard so long ago,
Of a time I'd never know.
Yet this day I had to see,
If my love would marry me.

She had been so long ago,
Dreams of life I did not know.
Though I saw her gleaming smiles,
Not the face through the miles.

Now to find the smile I dreamed,
Could never happen though it seemed.
I had given up my search,
For a life without a perch.

Till one day a note was sent,
From a lady to this gent.
It had seemed to be a note,
From this dream I could quote.

Looking to this ladies smile,
From inside the burning mile.
Had I seen this one before,
Tears to fall upon the floor.

Cry a river from the past,
Once forgotten, smiles passed.
Now to see this one inside,
Tears of joy could not hide.

Now to see this dream of old,
Felt within a heart of gold.
Carried to the alters place,
From within this deeper place.

Just to see this happy place,
Tears of gold upon my face.
Tears of joy upon the sill,
Once again to speak, I will,

So to speak of love and life,
This my friends Husband and wife.
We two walk from this day forth,
As one couple, we come forth.

See my friends, dreams don't end,
They can gather your one friend.
Let them guide you as mine do,
They will guide you, all day through.
