do you know whether or not you have chemistry with someone? Does it take you several dates, several hours, minutes? If you've met them on line and been talking for a while, how fast do you know if it's there in person?

It's like a song.

It depends on the person. It's never the same twice.

in person it don't take long, if the first look don't cut it, that's probably the end, but no longer than 5 minutes otherwise.

Depends on the person, but it doesn't take that long.

It took me 2 1/2 years to find out I didn't have chemistry with my ex-husband. So what is chemistry really? I have guy friends I've adored for as long as 10 or 15 years..but I wouldn't go to bed with them. Any thoughts?

it all depends on how alike the two people are on certain issues. Except for that whole "opposites attract" thing, you're probably right. |

I think most of us know fairly quickly if there's chemistry to continue forward, but I wouldn't write someone off just because I didn't feel it initially, I'd give it chance. There are so many variables that can effect this when you first meet someone.

Well, I wasn't really speaking about issues and such. If you've been speaking to someone you likely have gotten that part covered for the most part. I meant romantic chemistry.
