I'm very open and honest. If I don't get thoughts out, they eat away at me. So I'd say yeah, I share all with my partner.........when I have one

Not everything, but I'm a rather honest person...but I am also critical when answering questions, so if you ask the question right you will get the right answer.

Example if you were molested as a child and it brings back very disturbing memories and painful days...why share all that info with someone else? (just an example) Or guys...If you had been with another man before when you were a crazy mixed up teen...Would you want the woman in your life to know about it if it was say 25 years ago?

I don't like to keep things from my partner, but things told to me in confidence I don't tell them unless asked. Then a "I hope you understand, I was sworn to secrecy," usually works just fine.

I truly dont believe that one must divulge/expose everything they know to their partners.
If it has nothing to do with them, it is none of their business. Too much information causes many more questions. and as you stated, things told to me in confidence are off limits to all!! if that person wants to share it's on them, but my lips are forever sealed. |
