Dr. tells me my joints belong to someone in their early 80's.
Does that make a diff??

I turned 60 in April and I am proud of it too but haven't got my bus pass yet, prefer walking.

I'm with you Greyhound. I turned 60 last month and I don't feel like it. I'm new to the computer too.

The computer will become your best friend. It became my best friend a few years ago and it's more fun than doing dishes, vacuuming, watching t.v., talking, sleeping. Soon you will be looking for a 12 step program.

What a treat to find such vibrant people over 60. I'm 62 and loving it.

Just turned 67 and those that know me will know that my motto is "going fast and flying high" LOL Just started riding a motorcycle again after 30 yrs...

Yeah, it's too bad we don't live closer, we share alot of interests and could be great friends! Unfortunately, I'm not retired..That other woman is enjoying my retirement!!

Why do people keep saying that age is just a number. There has to be more to it than that.

We gotta deal with it someway!!!

Age is just a number, that tells how many years we have been on this earth.

How we treat ourselves, via work, nutrition, emotions, etc., governs how those years affect our bodies.

I abused my body for many years, physically, lack of proper nutrition, & hard on the emotions. I have always been taken for much older than I was, just now do people guess within reason. 15 years ago, I got help with the emotions & physical abuse. 6 years ago I got help with the nutrition. I still do 95% of what I could do, 20 years ago. Plan on living to, atleast, mid 80's. Will be the older than any one ever in my dad's family. as long as I can care for myself, drive, walk & carry on an intelligent conversation, I will keep going. I am a much different man than I was. That is WHY I know I tme has little to do with how "OLD", in years, we really are.

ATTITUDE & NUTRITION are the real "ageing, factors.

Think YOUNG, get proper nutrition & you will "SEEM" to reverse the time process.
