in the beginning stages of another economic colapse? Back during the great depression they had soup lines, people growing gardens in their backyards, etc.. Small business were going into debt and laying people off. Then almost everyone went in debt. It was a domino effect. It started with lower class, and reached all the way up to upper class.

Do you think you could survive in a world without natural resources? Such as oil, gas, electricity, etc..

I admire that quality. Some of wouldn't have a clue how to survive without. There wouldn't be a way to buy things if you have no money. So how would you buy your meat? Just curious. Some think it would be easy as long as they have alcohol. lol How are they going to buy it with no money? Better learn how to make some beer. lol

Most likely do as they did before kill it yourself. I mean even now someone has to kill it we just don't have to ourselves.

But...small business are already loosing ground and have been since 911 hit.

Plants are closing down big and small.

Those that are Financially in a bind should be looking for ways to get out.

There are many states that finding Jobs is not coming by easy. And some may need to consider moving to where the Jobs are.

Very true! Michigan is one of the states in big trouble right now. I lived up there for a total of 5 months and moved back to Missouri. In MI there are many houses foreclosing, tons of houses for sale, and not too many jobs. People are trying to get out and cannot because no one wants to buy a house in an economy that is going under. Tons of people on the street with no place to go. This happened every since the motor plants went under. Something to think about. Just to get a job in MI you will most likely have to have a bachelors degree. It was crazy. I felt sorry fo the people that are stuck in such conditions.

Yes we are. So fight for those farm jobs they may be all we will have soon.

My Fiscal Admin teacher talked about Bush. There are many professional's who believe he wanted to bankrupt the country. That way when his party was not in power the other one could not do anything. There would be no money and virtually no governement.

I saw a graph and Bush has borrowed more money than all the other presidents combined.

I totally agree! Some people just do not realize how close we are to losing everything we have. We should all prepare for the worst. For some reason some people think they are invincible. They think it cannot happen to them. I think sometime in the near future we will see another revolution. History is doomed to repeat itself in cycles.

We are in the very biginning stages of economic colapse. Many people in Vermont are moving to other states to find work. there is a lack of high paying jobs here.
Could I survive without natural resources or a job. I would like to think so. I currently keep a small garden. and have learned survival skills. I would hunt for food if necessary. Even if I had no home there are ways to protect yourself from the elements. I could survive through a winter in vermont withot a home.

The economic stimulus checks are nothing more than a loan to yourself. You'll be repaying it.

There will never be a revolution in the US. They will use any means necessary to maintain control and I mean anything.
